(Audubon) Logan-Magnolia and Missouri Valley combined for ten individual champions to finish as the top two teams at the Audubon Wheeler Invitational on Saturday.
The Panthers won the tourney with 260 points while Missouri Valley totaled 241. Logan-Magnolia had champions Kai Carritt (113), Wyatt Reisz (138), Briar Reisz (152), Gavin Maguire (160), Joe Hedger (195), and Cole Leonard (220). Top spots claimed by Missouri Valley went to Eli Becerra (106), Zavier Trovato (126), Andrew Bowman (132), and Gage Cluasen (170).
Creston/O-M JV, East Sac County, and Audubon rounded out the top five teams. The Wheelers had Carter Andreasen win the 145 pound weight class and Javyn Bladt top the podium at 182. Andreasen moves to 24-5 on the season while Bladt improved to 27-9. Cooper Nielsen was a 195 pound runner-up while Manny Beisswenger placed 4th at 126, with Zeke Konkler 6th at 120 and Lane Barber 6th at 160.
Place winners for the Atlantic/CAM JV included Tristan Becker (3rd at 113), Nathan Keiser (3rd at 285), Miles Mundorf (4th at 195), Zach Olson (5th at 132), Taye Jordan (6th at 106), Owen Hoover (6th at 152), and Cohen Bruce (6th at 182).
