(Avoca) AHSTW’s Claire Denning has joined the 1,000 point club. A four year varsity regular, Denning went for 22 points Saturday in the Lady Vike’s 65-19 win against Riverside.
She was 8/16 from the field, 4/8 from 3-point range, and 2/2 at the line. Denning added 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 steals, and a block. Her career point total is at 1,001.
AHSTW had 30 steals in the win. They’ve come out on top in five straight games and move to 12-5 on the season.
