(Avoca) The AHSTW girls basketball team downed IKM-Manning 72-53 Friday night. They outscored the Wolves 46-17 in the 2nd half to erase a 10 point deficit. Kailey Jones had 26 points and 21 rebounds. Claire Harris scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Claire Denning posted 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Denning is closing in on 1,000 career points with 966. The Lady Vikes have won 3/4 and are 10-5 overall.
The boys beat IKM-Manning AHSTW 52-44. Raydden Grobe canned four 3’s and finished with 22 points. Kyle Sternberg and Brayden Lund each scored 13 with Lund pulling in 7 rebounds. AHSTW is 13-1 overall and 9-1 in the conference.
