(Des Moines) According to Chris Cuellar with the Iowa High School Athletic Association, a complete release detailing the format for this season’s state wrestling tournament is expected to be released at some point later this week.
However, the Iowa High School Sports Network has stated Class 1A will wrestle on Wednesday, February 17th, the Class 2A tourney will be Thursday, February 18th, and Class 3A on Friday, February 19th. The state duals will take place on Saturday, February 20th.
We reiterate this information is not official from the Iowa High School Athletic Association, but has been released on social media by the Iowa High School Sports Network which owns the video rights for the tournament.
