(Red Oak) The Red Oak City Council tackled several items at Monday’s City Council meeting.
The Red Oak City Council appointed Amy Strebe to fill the Park and Tree Board vacancy on Monday. Strebe takes the seat vacated by Danielle Treat.
In other business, the Council approved a request from the Red Oak Chamber and Industry Association to use the empty lot on Fountain Square Park’s northwest corner on November 28 for a live Reindeer Display. The reindeer will be at the site from 10:00 to noon. In addition to that, the Council approved a Supplemental Agreement for Additional Services #1 with Snyder and Associates, Inc. for the rehabilitation of several street segments within the City of Red Oak in connection with the 2021 street asphalt project.
