(Guthrie Center) The County Auditor position and District 5 Supervisor seat are the only contested races in Guthrie County.
Democrat Eric Tiernan is challenging incumbent Republican Mike Dickson for the District 6 Supervisor seat. Dickson was first elected to the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors on January 1, 2009.
The Auditor’s race is also up for grabs between incumbent Dani Fink and Democrat Hans Erickson. In May, the Board of Supervisors appointed Fink as County Auditor following the resignation of Marci McClellan; before that, Fink served as Deputy Auditor for three-years.
Guthrie County has a total of 7,800 registered voters.
