(Neola) The Harlan girls posted a dominant performance Tuesday night to win Tri-Center’s cross country meet. The Cyclones placed four runners in the top five and totaled 20 points.
Kaia Bieker was the individual champ, Liv Freund ran 3rd, Brecken VanBaale 4th, Abi Albertsen 5th, and Ellie Gross 7th for the Cyclones.
AHSTW was the runner-up team. The Lady Vikes had two in the top ten with Julia Kock 6th and Chloe Falkena 9th. Other scoring runners for AHSTW were Holly Hoepner 14th, Kailey Jones 15th, and Jade Draman 16th.
Logan-Magnolia, Tri-Center, and Exira-EHK rounded out the top five teams. The Spartans 5th place finish came with a team total of 147 points. Camryn Paulsen ran 19th for Exira-EHK. Ella Petersen was 24th, Kate Hansen 42nd, McKenzie Yoshida 44th, and Haley Harris 61st.
