(Avoca) The AHSTW cross country meet on Tuesday saw the Missouri Valley boys top IKM-Manning by four points for the team championship.
The Big Reds tallied 54 points and placed four runners in the top 11. Cody Gilpin was the top performer for Missouri Valley in 3rd place.
Quentin Dreyer’s 2nd place run aided IKM-Manning to runner-up team honors. The Wolves also had Connor Keller place 5th.
Treynor was a distant 3rd, but laid claim to the individual champ. Junior Cole Dooley entered the chute in 16:58.
The 4th place team was Underwood. The Eagles had Gable Porter run 4th individually.
Woodbine, Riverside, Logan-Magnolia, and St. Albert rounded out the team field. Riverside’s 6th place finish came with a point total of 134. The Bulldogs were led by Ben Schroder in 9th while Eric Duhachek was 23rd.
No team scores were comprised for AHSTW, Audubon, or Griswold. Jackson Deist ran 17th for Audubon. AHSTW’s Caleb Hatch was 32nd. Griswold had Jeremy Sheeder come in 42nd.
