(Oakland) Riverside is on a roll. The Bulldogs zipped past West Monona 36-2 in Week 2.
Coach Darrell Frain says his team responded well to adversity, “We kind of stuck it to ’em after adversity. We had a bunch of turnovers and bad things go against us in the first half. We still were able to regroup and keep moving the ball and scored a lot of points. Sometimes that’s the difference between a good team and a bad team is who can overcome adversity. We did a good job of it tonight.”
The defense is yet to allow any points this season. Guys like Eddie Vlcek, Nate Messerschmidt, Wyatt Hough, and Kaiden Hendricks held their ground on the defensive line, “Those guys dominated the line and let our linebackers run around a little bit tonight.”
Riverside hosts St. Albert in a big Week 3 matchup.
