Angela (Harris) McCuddin, 64, of Atlantic, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.
Angela Raena was born on June 2, 1955, in Nebraska, and later adopted by Earl Eugene and Barbara Ann (Goff) Harris with two of her sisters and one brother. Her other siblings were also adopted and they remained in contact throughout their lives. She grew up in Atlantic and graduated from Atlantic High School in 1973. Following graduation, she was united to marriage to Doug White and was blessed with two sons, Douglas Josiah Eugene White III in 1974 and Matthew White in 1975. She later married Jeffery McCuddin and was blessed with son, Brandon in 1988. Her life centered around her boys and was thankful for the opportunity to stay home to raise them.
She was always one to put others before herself; always helping and worrying about how everyone else was. Her boys remember all of their friends thinking she was the best “Mama Angie” as she was a mother to all. Angela looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and loved them dearly. A joke between her and her siblings was that even though she wasn’t actually the “little sister” she was always called that because of her small stature. She and her dog, Baloo were inseparable and wonderful companions for each other. Angela was thankful for the frequent company and dinner invites from her cousin, LuAnn Ihnken.
Angela is survived by her sons, Matthew (Tara) White and Brandon (Jordan) McCuddin; grandchildren, Maysun and Addison White and Chloe and Teagan McCuddin; sisters, Victoria Ryan, Teresa Henderson and Janet Larsen; brothers, Steven Harris, William (Marianna) Harris, and Kirk Hall; and many extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Douglas Josiah Eugene White III; parents, Earl Euguene and Barbara Harris; and brothers, David Preston, Timothy Conn, Steven Preston, and David Harris.
Per her request cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Roland Funeral Service is caring for Angela’s family and her arrangements.
