Betty Jean Holtz, 88, of Avoca, Iowa, passed away March 23, 2020, at Avoca Specialty Care.
A private family funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 25, at 12:30 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.
Lying in State for Public Viewing is Tuesday, March 24th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca. Per CDC guidelines, only 10 visitors or fewer will be allowed at a time.
Survivors include her children Jean (Michael) Kenkel of Council Bluffs, IA; Keith (Nancy) Holtz of Avoca, IA; Connie Klein of Panama, IA; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Robert (Donna) Scheel of Jacksonville, IA; Carolyn (Tom) Morris of Council Bluffs, IA; brother-in-law Donald Nielsen of Avoca, IA
